The HR work owners keep putting off

Less “let me look that up.” More “Lexe has a draft.”

Pick a real-world example. See the draft, what gets checked, and what happens next.

Get Monday right.

A new hire starts in four days. Nobody remembers every step, and the ones that get missed are the ones with deadlines.

Office manager asks“Maria starts Monday in our Texas office. What do I need ready?”

Four things before day one: Form I-9 (section 1 by the end of her first day), a federal W-4 (Texas has no state income-tax form), your handbook acknowledgment, and benefits enrollment inside your plan’s window. I drafted her welcome checklist and the Friday reminder to her manager.

What gets checked

  • Every answer points to the policy or official source it came from.
  • Deadlines are pulled from your plan documents, not guessed.
  • Nothing is sent to the new hire until a person approves it.

What happens nextYou approve the checklist. Lexe schedules the reminders and logs what was sent.

The important details

Practical help. Clear boundaries.

Does Lexe replace our HR person?

No. Lexe takes the repeat questions and first drafts off their plate. Your HR person, or whoever handles HR, reviews and approves what goes out.

Is it legal advice?

No. Lexe gives information and drafts based on your policies and official guidance. For legal questions it tells you to talk to your attorney or HR professional.

Where does it get its answers?

From your own handbook and plan documents, plus official sources such as agency guidance. Each answer shows its source.

What happens to our employee data?

It stays in your company’s own separate space, with access limited to the people you approve. It isn’t used to train shared models unless you agree in writing.

When can we start?

Lexe is in development now, with a pilot for a small group of companies. Ask about the pilot and we’ll tell you if it’s a fit.
